Green clay contains many healthy minerals, cleanses the body, stimulates the immune system, and strengthens vitality. Almost every culture has clay or mud treatments in their medicinal traditions. Clay is a living, intelligent substance whose effects have never been replicated in a laboratory. No other substances have been added. Green clay is a good natural support for everyday (skin) problems.

This coarse mud is a bit firmer and is more often used, for example, on horse legs. It has a cooling and purifying effect after training and promotes relaxation and the removal of waste products such as lactic acid.




Properties:

Slowly pour the desired amount of Vertargil green clay into a bowl (not metal) containing an equal amount of water. Let it settle for a while without stirring so the clay can absorb the water well. Pour off the excess water and the paste is ready for use. It is advisable to use purified or spring water, as tap water sometimes contains chlorine, which can adversely affect the clay’s effectiveness. The remaining clay can be stored, provided it is not sealed off and remains in contact with a layer of water, light, and air.
