During periods of high temperatures, after heavy exertion or competition, a horse can develop an electrolyte deficiency due to heavy sweating. Electrolyte Paste is formulated to provide the body with extra energy from dextrose and electrolytes. This ensures a good electrolyte balance. This includes the use of sodium, potassium, and calcium in the form of chlorides. Complementary feed for horses.

Additional information:

Electrolytes regulate the body's fluid balance and are important for energy metabolism, pH balance, muscle contraction and relaxation, and signal transmission in the brain and nervous system. The body cannot produce these electrolytes itself, so they must be obtained from food and drinking water. During prolonged exertion, a horse loses significantly more electrolytes through sweat than can be replenished through normal feed.


Electrolyte Paste is an electrolyte mix in a convenient paste form, so you can take it anywhere and easily give it to your horse.
